The Malecon

The beach front is the place to be with shops and restaurants for any visitor. If you ever get lost, remember to find this sign. Looking inland you'll find the church and the condo. This also means you can see the boy on his seahorse from the roof top pool.

The malecon has many sculptures made by local artists, each with it's own unique story and design.

Turtle Rescue

Help baby Olive Ridley turtles return to nature (the day they hatch!) through this awesome organization. Located behind the airport in Puerto Vallarta, it's about a 30 minute taxi or Uber ride from the condo. Then you have about a 15-20 minute walk on the beach so bring water!

go to https://www.viator.com/tours/Puerto-Vallarta/Visit-Tortuguero-Camp-with-Turtle-Release-Jalisco/d630-392070P1  to see if they are releasing baby turtles that evening. If you're there during the off season, you may still get a great adventure by helping save the momma turtles from the birds as they lay their eggs. This organization is run entirely on charity so make sure to donate if you visit!

Day of the Dead

A holiday celebrated for a week at the end of October to early November, for locals to remember their deceased loved ones. You will see shrines on the local streets which should not be photographed per local tradition. However, the malecon is filled with displays that you are free to photograph and share. These amazing works of art take teams of employees days to setup and are lit up beautifully at night.
